Today is a different day for her Alfa Romeο which celebrates its 112th birthday. Founded in Milan in 1910, the brand has found a special way to celebrate the anniversary and awaken its “hometown”.
Starting at Piazza Duomo and passing through the most historic parts of the city, such as Piazza San Babila, Porta Nuova and the main station, the residents woke up to the “scream” of the hybrid ensemble of the Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN car. The course of the car through the streets of the city ended at Gattamelata, a place of special historical value. There, in 1910, Portello was created, the first Alfa Romeo factory to live a second life today, as the brand’s central exhibition.
At the wheel of her car Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN found Valtteri Bottasthe Finnish driver who in just a few months won the impressions, gaining 46 points so far, a performance that brings him to 8th place in the drivers’ ranking.
This proved to be a special way for Alfa Romeo to greet the inhabitants of the city, who certainly will not have woken up again in the same way …
