Greece is this year the honored country at the Festival of Nations in Budapest
Images and colors of Greece will adorn the large park of Budapest until July 1 You are and challenge its visitors to “taste” dream Greek holidays. A prospect that seems to entice many Hungarian tourists, as Greece is already the most popular destination for Hungarians in air travel summer packages.
Greece is this year honored country at the Festival of Nations (Festival of Nations) of Budapest. In this context, an exceptional event was organized with a photo exhibition of Greek destinations, in the large park of Budapest, which was inaugurated on Saturday, June 18. The event and the photo exhibition were co-organized by the Office of Commercial & Economic Affairs of the Greek Embassy in Budapest and the EOT Foreign Service of Austria (under the responsibility of Hungary) in collaboration with the Cultural Center of the 6th District of Hungary.
The particularly large public had the opportunity to be informed about the Greek destinations by the infotand of EOT and by the stands of travel organizers, who emphasized the particularly upward course of this year’s reservations to our country. The Ambassador of Greece Efthymios Pantzopoulos, inaugurating the event, stressed the close ties of friendship between the two peoples, inviting the official guests and the public to visit our country, to become friends of the famous Greek hospitality and to enjoy unique experiential experiences.
The afternoon program included an interactive Workshop on Greece, for children and adults, a music and dance event (by the Greek community in Hungary) and a screening of the EOT promotional film “Greece – You will want to stay forever” as an introduction to the famous film “MammaMia” . The particularly large public had the opportunity to be informed about the Greek destinations by the infotand of EOT and by the stands of travel organizers, who emphasized the particularly upward course of this year’s reservations to our country.
