A lawsuit against the Association of Greek Actors was filed by George Kimoulisrequesting the annulment of his removal decision, last April, by an extraordinary general assembly of ΣΕΗclaiming money compensation of 200 thousand euros for non-pecuniary damage.

According to a statement by Vassilis Kapernaros, the lawyer of the popular actor, in his multi-page lawsuit, Mr. Kimoulis invokes a number of reasons that make the contested decision of the union irregular, “which worked abusively, suspiciously and in the end illegally”.

Among the reasons put forward by the plaintiff for annulment of the contested decisionstates that it does not appear that the voted members were informed of his allegations, no three meetings were held until the existence of a quorum was established, as provided in the articles of association and therefore the statutory quorum was not observed, etc.

According to the announcement of Mr. Kapernaros:
