Thessaloniki: Plaster fell on the head of a 22-year-old while she was passing Aristotle

An EKAB ambulance rushed to the spot and transported the 22-year-old with bleeding to Papanikolaou hospital.

A 22 years old Bulgarian citizenship was injured after midnight in Aristotlein the center of Thessaloniki, when plaster from a building fell on the headi her while passing by the point.

The incident took place at the junction of Aristotelous Street and Vassileos Street in Heraklion, where there are several listed buildings. An EKAB ambulance rushed to the spot and transported the 22-year-old with bleeding at Papanikolaou Hospital.

According to information, he was examined by surgeons but nothing emerged and he left after signing.

It should be noted that there was damage and falling of plasters last week in the neoclassical building where the EETH and BETH chambers are housed, again on Aristotelous Street, in the so-called “horseshoe”.

As a precaution, in fact, ribbons were placed under the balcony from where the plasters were detached so that there would be no accident.

Today at noon the Building Committee of EETH and BETH will meet on the issue in order to take decisions regarding the restoration of these damages.
