Countdown to tourism pass – 300,000 beneficiaries

Countdown to one more passthat of tourism for all as according to the leadership of the Ministry of Tourism the relevant platform will open no later than 2 weeks.

As it becomes clear, we are not talking about bank account credit but about a digital intangible card, one digital voucher 150 euros.

Beneficiaries will be 300,000 will be selected with income criteria that will start from 16,000 euros for individual income and will reach 28,000 euros for family income increased by 1500 euros per child. In case there are more beneficiaries than expected, a draw will be held. Beneficiaries will be able to use the pass from the announcement of the start of the program until June 2023. The amount can be used for any type of accommodation (hotels, airbnb, rooms to let, etc.), or ferry tickets and even for health stores of interest. It can also be spent on the try, there is no restriction to be used once.

According to available information The process of issuing the card will be very easy, without bureaucracy, as things will be very simple for the professionals who will collect the card money. If the application of the interested party is accepted, the e-voucher is issued immediately and then the beneficiary (if he wants to spend the money on the accommodation) chooses the accommodation of his choice from the final list of providers and proceeds to the reservation.

The total budget for tourism for all is increased this year by 10 million euros compared to last year, to 30 million euros. If we add the social tourism programs but the special subsidy for holidays in North Evia and Samos, then the money given this year for the domestic tourism programs reaches 70 million euros.
