The new letter of the mother of the undefeated pop star, Adamantios Mantis, who was abducted and killed in a car accident in 2019 on Poseidonos Avenue.
Katerina Tzialla, in her letter to skai.gr, refers to the new adjournment of the trial for December 6, 2022.
Her entire letter:
“I am sad and angry as a mother and as a citizen that while I believed in Greek justice, on June 28 this faith was shaken. After 32 months of waiting for the murder of my son Adamantios Mantis, by a criminal driver, the day has finally come when he “The killer would have to face the law, to be tried for the death he caused. I went there as I should from 9 o’clock in the morning with plate number 16 but unfortunately at 3 o’clock they closed.”
In other words, after three years, the murderer of my son will be tried, who is free, living his life, while he took the life of a young man and plunged his family into mourning, pain and despair. And I ask, why now I did not see the intervention of anyone whose trial of a murderer is postponed for the second time?
Why don’t the judges in charge of the cases determine the order in which each case will be tried according to its gravity?
Why is it true that everyone considers their case important as the president of the court said, as you are there to judge which is more important and which is less important?
Why do they decide to try so many cases when they know that time is limited?
Because when they went up to the headquarters, they do not first ask which cases will be postponed so that then they can calmly judge those where all those interested are present. Madam President, is the case of kicking a dog, stealing 50 euros or embezzling the utilities of an apartment building from homicide so important, and for more than 45 minutes you ask and ask the same questions again? (Or was it a way to avoid prosecuting a case as serious as homicide?)
Why do you release the killers?
Why not evaluate as you owe the gravity of the case that you already know you will judge?
Why so much indifference to human life?
Let a judge be found who will evaluate correctly and understand that above all is the life that has been unjustly taken away by murderers of all kinds who are free.
