EY Greece: More than 1200 jobs in recent years

EY Greece, having placed technology at the center of its strategy.

Emphasis is placed on further strengthening its presence in the region as well consulting company EY Greece which already has an established presence in Athens and Thessaloniki, having created over 1200 jobs.

In this context, as the company points out, the new offices of EY Greece in Patras were officially inaugurated.

EY Greece was the first company in the sector to open offices in Patras in 2021, however the opening celebration was delayed due to the conditions of COVID-19.

The company’s new offices are a gateway for the Regions of Peloponnese and Western Greece to all of EY’s services, as well as to its global network.

As noted, EY Hellas, having placed technology at the center of its strategy, proceeded to create the new offices in Patras, investing in the high-level human resources of the city and the wider region of Western Greece. At the same time, it wanted to honor its commitment to supporting young Greek scientists and reversing the brain drain, through the creation of quality jobs, with multiplicative and long-term value for the local community.

In his statements, Panagiotis Papazoglou, managing director of EY Greece, noted:“We made the decision to establish these offices in Patras, as we recognize the dynamism of the local economy, the prospects for the wider role it will play in the coming years, and – above all – the value of its human resources and research ecosystem and innovation of the region, as well as the rich pool of talent and technological skills it has to offer. At EY Greece, we have created over 1,200 quality jobs in the last decade, for young scientists and professionals. With our new offices in Patras, we give the same opportunities to new graduates, but also to experienced professionals in the wider region of Western Greece”.
