Harmony Tan finds her struggling to understand her achievements after defeating Katie Boulter in the UK to extend her run at Wimbledon and book her place in the fourth round.

Earlier this week, just two days after his grandmother’s death, Bolter rose to national fame after defeating former finalist Karolina Pliskova in an emotional situation.

However, buoyed by her first-round win over Serena Williams, Tan pulled off what was ultimately a straight-set victory 6-1 6-1.

“No, I don’t think so yet. If you get some sleep, maybe tomorrow you will, but that’s great,” he said afterwards.

“I think I like grass. I don’t play on this court, but I like to do everything in the game, including court and volleyball, so I’m very happy.”

“The first round with Serena was really moving. [Williams] After that, I played every match and today was really good tennis. I don’t know why, but it depends on the day! “

Britain’s third bowler wanted to take SW19 glory even further, inspired by Leicester City’s miraculous 2015-16 Premier League title and Emma Raducanu’s 2021 US Open championship.

The 24-year-old World No. 115 made just five unreasonable errors as he rose to No. 16 and made his Wimbledon debut.

Vaulter conceded a fierce match on a double fault that gave Tan the third break of the set.

Home favorites who couldn’t live up to the second-round display committed 21 unforced errors.
