The employees of the Organization descend into work stoppages and 24-hour strikes
The employees of Organization of Urban Transport of Thessaloniki (OASTH), arguing that “the indifference of the competent ministries in dealing with our requests has now exceeded the limits of mockery and taunting”.
“We, the workers, continue to remain without a Collective Labor Agreement (CLA), without the return of our stipulated and legislated benefits that the management of the OASTH has been depriving us of for months, and we continue to work with uncertainty and the fear of a retroactive further reduction in wages us” is underlined in today’s announcement of their Association.
In more detail, work stoppages from 10 am to 4 pm were announced for July 5, 7, 11, 15 and 20. A work stoppage will also take place on July 13, from the start of the shift until 9 am and from 9 pm until the end of the shift, while 24-hour work stops will take place on July 18 and 22. “For the continuation of our mobilizations, there will be continuous information” concludes the relevant announcement._
