Corona virus – Greece: 9,360 new cases – 23 new deaths – 102 intubated

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours it is 9360.

The death toll rose to 23.

The number of intubated people reached 102.

Re-infections are counted at 1,841.

The EODY announcement in detail:

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease (individuals) recorded in the last 24 hours were 9,360.

The total number of people who fell ill amounts to 3,729,199 (daily change +0.2%), of which 48.6% are men.

The number of possible new reinfections recorded in the last 24 hours was 1,841, while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 181,717 (4.6% of the total number of positive results).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 23, while a total of 30,327 deaths have been recorded since the beginning of the epidemic. 95.7% had underlying diseases and/or age 70 years or older.

The number of intubated patients is 102 (61.8% men). Their median age is 70 years. 91.2% have underlying diseases and/or age 70 years or older. Among intubated patients, 39 (38.24%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 63 (61.76%) are fully
vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,735 patients have been discharged from ICUs.

Admissions of new COVID-19 patients to the territory’s hospitals are 257 (daily change -3.02%).

The average seven-day admissions is 281 patients. The median age of the cases is 37 years (range 0.2 to 112 years), while the median age of the deceased is 80 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
