The Ministry of Digital Governance is proceeding with the extension of the operation of the myKtimatologioLive platform to 12 regional offices in collaboration with the Agency “Greek Land Registry”.

This is the platform through which citizens and professionals (lawyers, notaries, engineers) can be served remotely via video call for issues related to the cadastral register and real estate registration of specific areas.

The myKtimatologioLive was put into pilot operation at the end of last February by the Land Registry Office of Attica in Koropi. In less than four months, more than 600 digital appointments have taken place. As of today, the service is expanding with the inclusion of the following twelve regional offices (Cadastre Offices and Branches) with their areas of control:

1. K.G. Central Greece – Lamia

2. K.G. of Western Macedonia – Kozani

3. K.G. Peloponnese – Tripoli

4. K.G. North Aegean – Mytilini

5. K.G. Cyclades – Syros

6. Patmos branch

7. Kalamaria branch

8. Veria Branch

9. Trikala Branch

10. Aegialia Branch – Aigio

11. Zakynthos branch

12. Chania branch

The operation of the platform, which was designed, implemented and productively supported by the General Secretariat of Public Administration Information Systems, is particularly simple.

First, the interested party enters myKtimatologio.Live.gov.gr and confirms his details through the Taxisnet codes. He then selects the day and time he wishes to be served from the list of available appointments. For those who do not have Taxisnet codes, it is possible to make an appointment through another person.

The appointment is selected by the interested party in a day and time from the time range of the next 15 days, from the next working day onwards. The interested party will receive two confirmation emails, one a day before the appointment and another two hours before it. Finally, it is possible to change the time and day or to cancel the appointment. At the start of the video call, the identity is checked by the employee by showing the identification document on the part of the citizen, and then the employee serves the request for which the appointment was made.

Information is provided at two levels. At the first level, general information and directions are provided by staff of the organization with experience in the field of administrative information. In the event that the employee diagnoses the need to forward the request to specialized personnel, such as in cases where information is requested on issues of a legal and/or technical nature, the information is given at a second level through controlled appointments made by the employee, on behalf of the customer, with the corresponding specialized member of the body.

Digital appointments with public bodies are a new modern communication and service tool, an extension of the existing methods of information (phones, email). MyDESKlive, as the service is called, already works for services provided by the KEP, the OAED, the AADE, the eEFKA, the Consular Authorities, the Ombudsman and the Municipalities (piloted in the Municipality of Chania), facilitating the daily life of the citizen and signaling a new era in citizens’ communication with the digital services provided by the public administration.
