This is an episode that took place on the eve of PAOK’s European match against Ajax in 2019
Three men were identified for involvement in episode, fan-motivatedwhich took place on August 5, 2019, in Thessaloniki.
More specifically, on the eve of PAOK’s European match against Ajax, the three defendants, of Greek origin (aged 34, 27 and 31), they attacked four fans of the Dutch team who had gone to the stadium of Toumba to watch the training of “Aianda”.
As it emerged from the police investigation, a 30-year-old Dutch man was immobilized, riding on two bikes and after a chase, who was beaten with an iron fist and his purse was taken from him.
A case file was filed against them by the Sports Violence Sub-Directorate of Thessaloniki for robbery and dangerous bodily harm (together these two acts), as well as for violations of the law on weapons and the legislation regarding violent offenses on the occasion of sporting events. A fourth person is wanted for the same case.
The case file will be submitted to the Criminal Prosecutor’s Office of Thessaloniki and in the next period they will be called to account for their actions.
