The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease (individuals) recorded in the last 24 hours were 18,297. The total number of people who got sick amounts to 3,792,674 (daily change +0.5%), of which 48.5% are men.

The number of possible new reinfections recorded in the last 24 hours was 3,812 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 195,075 (4.9% of the total number of positive results).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 28, while a total of 30,400 deaths have been recorded since the beginning of the epidemic. 95.7% had underlying diseases and/or age 70 years or older.

The number of intubated patients is 98 (62.2% male). Their median age is 72 years. 91.8% have underlying diseases and/or age 70 years or older. Among intubated patients, 38 (38.78%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 60 (61.22%) are fully
vaccinated.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,741 patients have been discharged from ICUs. Admissions of new COVID-19 patients to the territory’s hospitals are 333 (+18.09% daily change). The average admissions of the seven days is 296 patients.

The median age of cases is 37 years (range 0.2 to 112 years), while the median age of deaths is 80 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
