A criminal organization was dismantled that systematically trafficked significant quantities of heroin in the wider area of Attica and mainly to traffickers in the center of Athens.

-21- kilos and -530- grams of heroin were confiscated, revolver with -11- cartridges, -13,520- euros, -30,000- Albanian lek, -2- I.X.E. cars, I.X. Truck, -2- precision scales and -7- mobile phones
A fully equipped laboratory for heroin falsification and retrying was located
From the Drug Prosecution Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate, a criminal organization was dismantled that systematically trafficked significant quantities of heroin, in the wider area of Attica and mainly to traffickers in the center of Athens.
Yesterday (27-11-2021) at noon, after an organized police operation in Kypseli and Galatsi, -3- foreigners (two men aged 33 and 36 and a 60-year-old woman), members of the organization, were arrested.
A case was filed against them for the – where appropriate – offenses, criminal organization and forgery and violations of the Law on Addictive Substances and on Weapons.
In order to certify and reveal their criminal activity, a police investigation was carried out with verifications and cross-references and the creation of a “profile” of those involved.
In fact, a fully equipped laboratory for falsification and re-printing of heroin, used by the organization, was located in a house in the area of Galatsi.
During the research the roles were revealed:
- of the 33-year-old, in the management of the organization, as well as in finding and coordinating the trafficking of drugs
- 36-year-old, as responsible for the transportation of drugs, as well as for the safekeeping of the money that came from the sales and
- of the 60-year-old woman, as the person in charge of guarding the laboratory for falsification and re-printing of heroin.
From the investigations carried out, a total of were found and confiscated:
-month of heroin weighing – 21- kilos and -530- grams
-the revolver and -11- cartridges
-13,520- euros and -30,000- Albanian lek
-2- I.X.E. cars
I.X. Truck
-2- electronic precision scales
-7- mobile phones
complete drug laboratory equipment (press, stirrers, etc.)
The arrested, with the case file against them, were taken to the competent Prosecutor.
