A father and son were sentenced by the Autonomous Three-member Criminal Court of Thessaloniki for the incident that happened last week in Menemeni, when they attacked a patrol car crew that was called to check a complaint about disturbing the public peace.

The first was sentenced to 3 years in prison and the second to 1 year and 13 months, suspended sentences. Both were found guilty of violence against employees, simple bodily harm, damage to another’s property, intimidation, intimidation and menacing.

Only the 40-year-old father appeared in court (his 21-year-old son was tried by proxy) and in his plea he pleaded drunkenness to justify their actions, for which he apologized.

The two foreign defendants seem to have been having fun on Thursday night in an apartment and when, due to the commotion, Immediate Action was notified, they attacked the police officers, causing damage to their patrol car. Police reinforcements were called to the scene, who immobilized them and arrested them.
