The organizers of the festival at the Lazarist Monastery report that everything was ready for the concert to take place on time
The scheduled appearance of Placebo in Thessaloniki, tonight at the Lazarist Monastery.
As announced by the band itself the concert canceled due to illness and after relevant medical advice.
The following announcement was issued by the organizers of the Lazarist Monastery Festival:
It is with regret that the production company and the Lazarist Monastery Festival announce the cancellation of tonight’s PLACEBO concert due to illness as announced by the band itself, and while the venue was prepared, the sound was completed and tested and everything was ready for the concert on time.
This decision necessarily makes us exposed to the hundreds of spectators who have purchased tickets and especially to those who will not be informed in time and will come to the Lazarist Monastery, many from far away.
We ask for your understanding and await further announcements from the production company and the band to find out the serious reason for the artists’ non-appearance.
