According to the Fire Department, the fires that broke out yesterday afternoon in forest areas in the areas of Traganos and Varda in Ilia are without an active front and are contained, while the fire in the Agnata area presents a good picture.
In particular, according to the Fire Department, in the area Crispy of the municipality of Pinios, 38 firefighters, a pedestrian section and 14 vehicles are still working, in order to bring the fire under full control and to deal immediately with possible rekindlings in the burnt area.
In her area Vardas, of the municipality of Andravidas – Kyllini, 32 firefighters with 13 vehicles are working to completely extinguish the fire and prevent any flare-ups.
