The very high temperatures are expected to last even until the end of July, while for Attica in particular, the forecast “shows” the mercury “nailed” at 40 degrees and above, with the only way out is the north wind that will blow and soften somewhat the atmosphere.
Maximum temperatures will reach their peak on Sunday and a slight drop is expected from Monday. However, temperatures will remain high, either close to 40 or above 40, especially in Attica, for many days, which will greatly burden the situation. THE Civil Protection has given instructions to deal with the prolonged heat, asking citizens to avoid heavy work, exposure to the sun, especially at midday, and drinking plenty of fluids.
