Pispirigou: Apologizes today for the attempted murder of Georgina

The disputed time began on April 8, 2021 when Georgina was admitted to Karamandanio. According to data available to the authorities, the child’s parents allegedly had an appointment with a law firm in Patras that day with the aim of issuing a divorce. Just 18 days before, the youngest girl of the Daskalaki family, 6-month-old Irida, had died in the room where she slept with Georgina. In 2019, Georgina also lost her 3.5-year-old sister, Malena.

On the day in question, the little girl was admitted to the Hospital, with the mother telling the doctors that Georgina was having convulsions. The tests the 9-year-old underwent did not confirm any pathological condition. However, on April 11, 2021, the child suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest, with the mother notifying the doctors in a manner, as stated in the case file, rather especially cool for the seriousness of the situation. The incident was dealt with when a nurse saw Georgina bruised and alerted the doctors. Doctors brought her back after 50 minutes, but the child had suffered hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, causing her to become a paraplegic.

Roula Pispirigou is being investigated as to whether she was involved in the deaths of her other two children, a case handled by Prosecutors Apostolos Andreou and Antonis Eleftherianos. It seems that after the written explanations given by the 33-year-old as a suspect in the deaths of her other two children, the prosecutors are ready to proceed to the next criminal step to complete their investigation.
