The incident in question occurred in March 1998 and concerns the Vlastos brothers. Police officers of the direct action patrol cars had just taken over night duty in the area of ​​Kallithea. Only the crew’s composure and vigilance saved them from death, as the suspects opened fire instantly and in cold blood without warning. The two colleagues were promoted to the next rank while they were awarded by the state the excellence of bravery”.
