Pispirigou’s lawyer: It is very likely that a release request will be filed, depending on the developments

For her apology yesterday Roulas Pispirigou regarding the attempted murder of her daughter GeorginaOthona’s lawyer Papadopoulos spoke to SKAI and to the show “Today”.

As he stated, on the part of the accused, a very comprehensive memorandum was filed for all the events that took place from April 8 to 11, 2021, during the child’s hospitalization in Karamandanio, and then he answered the interrogator’s questions.

“Explanations were requested for the pains in the back and abdomen that the child had been complaining of since April 8, which resulted in his transportation, admission and hospitalization in Karamandanio,” said Mr. Papadopoulos. He also reported that the child presented various discomforts, a drop in oxygen and tachycardia, as a result of the tragic event of April 11, when he became a quadriplegic.

He emphasized that according to the indictment no the manner of the homicide emerges. “It is reported to have been done in an unknown manner,” the lawyer said.

As for whether some substance might have been administered to the child, he emphasized that blood samples were taken when he was admitted to Karamandanio and on April 14 when he was transferred to the ICU of the hospital in Rio and nothing was found.

Mr. Papadopoulos also mentioned that Roula Pispirigou continues to complain about her detention while denying any involvement in her child’s health adventure.

In fact, he emphasized that it is extremely possible, based on the course of things, that a request for release from prison will be combined with the referral will, based on the judgment of the Misdemeanor Council for the evaluation of the evidence from the interrogation.
