New heavy prosecutions against Pispirigos for Malena and Iris

Both the youngest children of the family of Manos Daskalakis have been murdered by their mother Roula Pispirigou, who is already in custody for the murder of her eldest daughter Georgina.

After investigations that took time and the new forensic data that emerged, the prosecutors who had the responsibility of evaluating all the new evidence, proceeded with a new prosecution against Roula Pispirigou for serial murders, concerning the deaths of her two youngest children , her Malena and her Iris.

Prosecutors Antonis Eleftherianos and Apostolos Andreou proceeded with a new serious prosecution against Pispirigou after completing their research. The new prosecution is based on the unshakable forensic data recorded in the conclusive report of the medical examiners Karakouki-Kalogria, as well as on the testimonies of nurses and doctors who had contact with the two incidents of the little girls.

An additional aggravating factor for the performance of the heaviest charge, that she killed her two youngest children, is for the Rula Pispirigou the fact that only she was with them at the time of their death, something that had also happened to the unfortunate 9-year-old Georgina.

In particular, for the death of 3.5-year-old Malenas, the doctors describe in their statements that are in the case file the image of a mother who started calling for help, when the child was now cold, that is, she had died some time ago.

After all, in the testimonies of the doctors and nurses, Malena is described as a sociable, happy and cheerful child, who had overcome leukemia. The doctors in their statements also note, among other things, that the child passed away completely suddenly, while Malena had overcome leukemia, had been medically checked and was in good health.

Regarding the death of Iris, a 6-month-old infant, the case file shows that there were traces of blood in the baby’s mouth, a fact that proved to the coroners and prosecutors that his death was the result of a criminal act.

Moreover, in the case of Iris, the child had died an hour before his mother alerted and the rescuers arrived, after they found him in a deathly rigidity, a fact which, according to the medical examiners, is proof that his death had occurred an hour before.

After the new prosecutions, Roula Pispirigou is now facing three counts of murder, related to the murder of her three children and one attempted murder, when she tried to take the life of 9-year-old Georgina, when she was hospitalized in Karamandanio in Patras, but without to achieve it, but leaving her quadriplegic and with enormous health problems.

The case file with the new prosecutions is now in the hands of a competent investigator.
