The team of former conservative heartthrobs that supports Jair Bolsonaro (PL) may gain a reinforcement. A contemporary of former Secretary of Culture Mario Frias, actor and comic book creator Felipe Folgosi, 48, joined the president’s party, and in the coming days he will officially launch himself as a candidate for federal deputy for São Paulo.
With stints at Globo (“Sex Appeal”, “Explode Coração”), Record (“Terra Prometida”) and SBT (“Chiquititas” and “As Aventuras de Poliana”), Folgosi is in pre-campaign on the networks and has already communicate in politiques. “My aspirations have always been as an actor, but there comes a time in life when you start to think about contributing more to society in general”, he tells the F5.
In his Instagram posts, the actor prays from the same booklet as the bolsonaristas – and he makes a point of making that clear. He knows that this is his constituency and he invests heavily in it. So take Brazilian flags, pictures of gun in hand practicing shooting, biblical messages, examples of patriotism and “good citizens”. Not all of his professional colleagues like his position, and it has been bothering him for some time.
