“Nowhere in Attica, nowhere in Greece are there homeless people,” states the Minister of Citizen Protection Takis Theodorikakos in his post.
The Minister of Citizen Protection, Takis Theodorikakos, with his post on his personal social media accounts, referred to the special operation of the Hellenic Police for evacuation of an occupied building in the area of Exarchion:
“Evacuation of illegal immigrants occupied by EL.AS in Exarchia. 8 foreigners have been brought in, including the alleged perpetrator of an attempted rape a few days ago in the same area. Nowhere in Attica, nowhere in Greece are there avatas. We are firmly on the side of the citizens and resolutely continue the efforts for their safety”.
According to ELAS, so far 8 foreigners have been brought in (3 from Egypt, 2 from Palestine, 1 from Tunisia, 1 from Syria and 1 from Iraq), against whom a case file is to be filed.
