“We who are in this area, in this homeland, must know that salvation, strength, the solution to problems, lies in solidarity, in cooperation”, emphasized the Archbishop of Athens and all Greece from I.N. of the Transfiguration of Sotiros Vrilissios

“The Church is not something separate from our people. It’s not something adversarial. If some have these views, they can have them. We who are in this area, in this homeland, must know that salvation, strength, the solution to problems, lies in solidarity, in cooperation”, stressed the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Ieronymos, by I.N. of the Transfiguration of Sotiros Vrilissi, where the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist was celebrated this morning.

“The priest, the mayor, the parliamentarian, the minister, we do not divide anything, but we join our forces. We have our opinions, but we have no animosity. So this space can set an example and embrace everyone without discrimination. Because this is the problem of our country today and all the times we went through crises,” he explained.

Finally, O Primate of the Hellenic Church wished “may God strengthen the fathers of the temple and all the partners, the parents and the children, so that here is a nursery that may have difficulties and problems, but will have, above all, the love that covers all and he knows how to pull out the thorns where they are».

Earlier, he expressed his excitement to see several young children in the church and spoke about the work being done in the parish by the head of the church, pastors and lay partners. In fact, he referred to the interest in children, parishioners, the elderly and the problems that exist, as well as the obligation we all have, Church, State and Municipality, to deal with them.
