She revealed in her post that she has already filed a lawsuit against the owner of the animals, because he leaves them in a miserable condition, while he also denounced the indifference of the authorities.
“The response of the police (since Monday when our lawyer has filed a lawsuit against the owner before the Igoumenitsa Prosecutor’s Office) is that they can only act with a veterinarian from the Region. And the head of the municipality’s veterinary service, after daily communication with Mr. . Kassandrinos, he is making fun of us, while he has already informed the breeder. So far, the District veterinarian has not yet checked any of the depicted cows. The police still find no reason to go there, even though there is a pending case against the breeder. Specialist in cattle, he informed me by seeing these pictures that these animals eat as little as once every 15 days to keep themselves alive (as long as they can) and to be able to mate.
