The deadline for submitting applications for the subsidy program for places in nurseries, kindergartens, KDAP and KDAPmeA for the period 2022-2023 is extended until Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
According to Domna Michailidou, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, the purpose of the extension is to better serve all parents who wish to participate in the program, after the increased interest that was noted from the first days that the platform was opened.
It is reminded that the submission of applications to EETAA is done electronically by the parents or representatives of the children using the taxisnet codes.
As already announced, for the first time, the program which is announced with an increased total budget (national and community participation) of 331.2 million euros, includes parents working in both the private and public sectors, as well as a new category voucher for parents with higher incomes up to 42,000 euros.
Domna Michailidou, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, stated that:Our main concern is to ensure the access of all children to nurseries. For this reason, in order to better serve all interested parents, we have decided to extend the deadline for submitting applications until Wednesday, August 17. So far 181,009 applications have been submitted and counting. For the first time, we are increasing the budget of the program and giving the opportunity to even more children to have access to early childhood education. With deeds and not words, we continue to strengthen as many families as we can».
