It is announced to be one of the rarest Aston Martins in the marque’s rich 109-year history.
THE Aston Martin chose Monterey Car Week 2022 to unveil the stunning DBR22 for the first time. It launches an innovative design concept for a two-seater sports car with a V12 engine.
Unveiled in California, the DBR22’s design philosophy is the latest in a long line of outstanding projects handled by the marque’s specialist interior department tasked with completing high-end bespoke cars.
Iconic models which developed the specialized department is the Aston Martin Victor, the Vulcan which only 24 cars were built, the Vantage V600 with only 14 cars etc.
The DBR22 combines the classic art of car manufacturing with advanced materials and state-of-the-art technologies.
Aimed primarily at collectors around the world, the very expensive car promises mechanical precision, incredible performance and unprecedented driving experiences.
It is announced to be one of the rarest Aston Martins in the marque’s rich 109-year history.
The design concept for the DBR22 features a completely new body, inspired by Aston Martin’s designers. Its exceptional form is created by a minimal number of body panels to create a more sculpted, muscular presence.
A particularly notable feature is the all-new front grille which incorporates an original carbon fiber design in place of the usual features seen across Aston Martin’s range of mass-produced models. This design harkens back to the legendary DBR1 and DB3S models.
The hood features an impressive vent to facilitate airflow to the 5.2 Twin-Turbo V12 engine beneath. The engine produces 715 horsepower and 753 Nm of torque. It ensures exciting performance, acceleration from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 319 km/h.
