Cinematic thriller lived by a family of Germans, who were pursued – and attacked – by Rethymnoites in Mylopotamos for an absolutely trivial reason.

According to ERT, the incident happened on Friday morning. The family was riding in a rented vehicle and moving to Perama Mylopotamos. On the way, they legally overtook a farm vehicle in which a family from the area was riding, namely the father with his two sons and his daughter.

Then, obviously because the locals took it as an insult the fact that a rental car with “strangers” overtook them, sped up and crashed into the car on purpose.

A chase ensued which lasted for some time. Finally, when the cars stopped, the driver of the rural attacked the driver’s son who was sitting in the passenger seat and punched him viciously. The second son of the family tried to protect his brother.

Then the situation got out of hand, when the passenger of the rural moved with a knife towards the family of tourists, who got into the car in fear and tried to drive away. The family of the locals, however, continued to chase them and “pound” the rental vehicle.

Finally, residents of Perama “fled” the family of the Germans who filed a lawsuit. The two perpetrators have already been identified, but have not been arrested, with the curfew valid until midnight on Saturday
