Crete: The case file for the attack on a German family is at the prosecutor’s office

The case file for the unprecedented incident, which took place in Crete against German tourists, has been forwarded to the public prosecutor of Rethymno. At the same time, new facts are coming to light, when EL.AS. has launched a manhunt to arrest the perpetrators.

The local community of Mylopotamos calls for the arrest of the perpetrators and for them to face the consequences of the law, while the incident also prompted the intervention of the Minister of Citizen Protection, Takis Theodorikakos, who contacted the local authorities in order to be informed about the case and addressed strict recommendation for immediate mobilization, so that the perpetrators are brought to justice.

German tourists talking to the ERT camera they emphasized that the only thing they expect is the arrest of the perpetrators and, in particular, the driver of the vehicle, where he attacked them with a knife and chased them with his rural car, in the crowded Perama, while he did not hesitate to climb into the back of the rental car, to attack them for one more time with a knife.

They even emphasize that they are afraid to leave the hotel while the perpetrators are walking around free.

At the same time, according to information from ERT Chania, representatives of the local government intend to meet and discuss the problems arising from such unacceptable and dangerous behavior, while there will also be a meeting with the family.
