Thessaloniki – Case of romantic anti-jealousy: 25-year-old woman remanded in custody – “I forgive her”, says the victim

“I forgive her because she is a mother and has two children and she has to raise them,” says the 27-year-old victim of the knife attack for reasons of romantic jealousy in Thessaloniki.

Speaking to Alpha, he stated that he did not know why the 27-year-old carried out this attack, injuring her, as he said, in the abdomen and shoulder. “If I had her in front of me, I would have spoken to her nicely, I don’t know how she came and stabbed me. I would have a nice conversation with her and not have her come and attack me,” he said specifically

When asked if she feared she would lose her life, she said: “In one moment I thought that, I say now I will not live…” while at the time of the attack, she confirmed that she ran into the house with the knife on her shoulder her and her sister removed it. “I passed out, I didn’t have the strength to get up, I was very bad,” he added.

At the time of the attack, as she said, she had left the house to get a coffee and suddenly the 25-year-old appeared in front of her: “I left my house and was going to my sister’s like I go for a coffee, and she called me at that moment. The way I saw her, however, it didn’t seem to me that she wanted to talk because she was running and at that moment when I was at my sister’s door, she took out the knife and stuck it in my stomach”

For the perpetrator’s husband. clarified that they are just friends “We were not in a romantic relationship nor were we a couple, she was jealous. I didn’t expect him to come and stab me.”

As reported by Grtimes.gr, the 25-year-old was temporarily detained, after her apology, for the attack with a knife on a 27-year-old for reasons of sexual jealousy in Thessaloniki.
He is charged with attempted murder and violation of the Arms Act.

During her plea, the accused claimed that
he did not want to kill the sufferer but only attacked her to scare her away from her husband and children.

She appeared remorseful and stated before the investigator that she apologized to the 27-year-old through her mother and her brother who visited her in the hospital where she is being treated. According to the indictment, the bloody incident happened in Pylaia when the 25-year-old attacked the 27-year-old and wounded her with a knife in the abdomen.
