Residents of communities of the Municipality of Oreokastro are invited not to consume water from the taps, from Monday and for the days when the test operation of a new water supply network will take place.
The Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Oreokastro (DEYAO) specifically announced that from Monday, December 6, 2021, the test operation of the integrated water supply network of Mygdonia begins after the excavation of new wells and the completion of the necessary technical works.
As part of the test operation of the new water supply network, the residents of Drymos, Liti and Melissochori are advised not to consume water for drinking and cooking, as disinfections and analyzes will be carried out. The trial operation of the network is estimated to take about a week. There will be a new announcement to consumers as soon as the required quality controls of the network are completed.
According to the organization, this is an important project that is expected to contribute to solving the chronic problems faced by the residents of Migdonia with water supply.
