The 43-year-old made a complaint to the Police, the perpetrator was arrested and released. He will be tried on Tuesday at the Autoforo Three-Member Misdemeanor Court of Volos.

The 45-year-old owner of a grocery store, which he owns with his wife and their 19-year-old son, argued with the woman the day before yesterday and after swearing at her, threatened to burn and kill her and will have the fate of the other women who were “cleansed” by their husbands (…) according to the complaint of the 43-year-old woman. He then slapped her in the face hard.

The man was arrested and detained on Wednesday at the Magnesia Police Department and yesterday at noon he was brought to trial at the Autoforo Three-member Misdemeanor Court of Volos. A criminal prosecution of a misdemeanor nature was brought against him by the prosecutor’s office for insult and threat, as well as for dangerous bodily harm against the spouse based on the provisions of the Criminal Code on domestic violence.

The trial of the case was postponed until next Tuesday, August 30, due to the absence of the woman who was to testify as a prosecution witness.
The man testified in the Court that until Tuesday he will not stay at home with his wife, but in the shop he owns, while the president of Trimelous warned him not to create a new episode against his wife in these days, while he was released .
