Summer weather and thunderstorms on Wednesday across the country

Generally clear weather, with sunshine and a few local clouds, will prevail on Wednesday across the country.

The temperature will rise slightly, according to the meteo of the National Observatory of Athens, and will range in Western Macedonia from 9 to 26 degrees, in the rest of Northern Greece from 12 to 29, in Epirus from 14 to 31 degrees, in Thessaly from 14 to 20, in the rest of the mainland from 15 to 30-32 degrees, in the Ionian islands from 18 to 31 and in the Aegean islands and Crete from 18 to 29 degrees, while in the Eastern Aegean islands and the Dodecanese the maximum will locally reach the 32-34 degrees Celsius.

The winds in the Aegean will blow from northern directions with intensities of 6-7 Beaufort and possibly locally in the southern seas 8 Beaufort. In the Ionian, the winds will blow from the east with intensities of 3-4 Beaufort and from the midday hours from the northwest with the same intensities.

In Attica sunshine is expected. Winds will blow from north directions with intensities of 4-5 Beaufort and locally in the east 6 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 28 to 28-29 degrees.

At Thessaloniki few clouds are expected. Winds will blow from southerly directions with intensities of 2-4 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 18 to 26 degrees.
