A 22-year-old girl experienced absolute terror at the hands of two men who kept her locked in a house in the center of Athens while they also tried to rape her.
The Calvary of the girl from Algeria began – according to their statement to the police – in the early hours of Friday after a night out with a friend.
In a club where they were having fun, they met the two men and the girl accepted their offer to go to their house.
But the two men – nationals of Bulgaria and Guinea – seem to have been in wild moods as they tore her clothes and tried to rape her.
The girl resisted with all the strength she had left and then the two men locked her in the apartment so she could not leave.
Yesterday at noon, the girl managed to find a way to get out on the balcony of the apartment and call for help. Neighbors called the police who arrived at the apartment and arrested her would-be rapists.
The young girl was taken to a hospital by EKAV ambulance in order to provide her with first aid.
