THE pulmonology professor Theodoros Vasilakopoulos, explained on SKAI television and the “Today” show, that the reason schools are operating without measures is that we are going through the sixth week of the de-escalation of the coronavirus indicators.

However, Mr. Vasilakopoulos noted that the protocol should provide negative coronavirus test for teachers who return to classes after illness as the mask alone is not enough.

The unvaccinated teachers

For unvaccinated teachers, who are required to do a rapid test or PCR test per week, the professor emphasized that the number of those who have not been vaccinated or who have not fallen ill is small. He characterized anyway not a very smart choice the fact that someone has not been vaccinated.

“Doing a rapid test to protect the rest of the environment rudimentarily is the minimum cost of maintaining his sanity.” said Mr. Vasilakopoulos.
