He grabbed his ex-wife by the hair and neck in front of their child – He denies any act of violence

A 45-year-old accused of domestic dangerous bodily harm and insulting his ex-wife will be acquitted in front of the Three-member Motoring Misdemeanor Court of Lamia.

The incident, according to the complainant, took place last Saturday (17/9) at the defendant’s house, where the woman went to get her personal belongings, since they have separated.

She claims that she had notified her ex-husband about this, however when he got there he described to the police that he assaulted her by cursing her and grabbing her by the hair. Then, in fact – as she says – he grabbed her by the neck to choke her. And all this, according to what she claims, in front of the eyes of their minor child.

In fact, he submitted a medical note from the Lamia Hospital, where he went for tests.

On the other hand, the 45-year-old, who was arrested by police officers of the Lamia Immediate Action Department the same night as part of the car accident, claims that he was not notified by his ex-wife that she would be moving to his house and was surprised when he saw her moving the furniture.

He reports that she abused him by provoking him, however, although he moved to grab her by the neck, he restrained himself and let her collect her things.

The case was adjourned and until then the 45-year-old’s detention was lifted.
