As stated in the relevant announcement, the program will start tomorrow, Friday, September 23, and will end on November 15, 2022.
A total of 150,000 checks have been issued, worth 20 euros each, including VAT, with a budget of 3 million euros, while 598 bookstores and publishing houses are already participating.
With the check, which is in the form of a unique electronic code number, beneficiaries and beneficiaries can buy any book they choose from bookstores and publishing houses in the register of providers, with the exception of textbooks for all educational levels (books provided free of charge by the Ministry of Education and other public bodies), with a discount of at least 10% on all books (except foreign languages).
