An incredible incident took place in a well-known cafe-bar of Myrina in Lemnos, when two couples of tourists, after consuming their order, left leaving behind photocopies of banknotes!
As the shop owner says to FM100, the incident happened last week, when 2 couples went to the cafe-bar it has. After ordering and consuming the order, they signaled to the employee that they have left the money on the table they were sitting at and left.
A few minutes later, the employee went to clean the table and take the money left by the customers, but she was surprised to find that the bills were photocopies and on one side only…
The owner of the store, states to our station, that their image did not betray their intention. “They were well-dressed, around 55 to 65. They were well-spoken and did not raise any curiosity during the time they stayed in the store. I believe they were Scandinavians and logically they left last Sunday from Lemnos”, he told us characteristically.
