Two overflights, two engagements, four armed and 7 formations of F-16s flew over areas of the Aegean on Monday
Turkish provocation in the Aegean continues with unabated intensity, as on Monday, 20 Turkish aircraft of various typesin formations or individually, violated Greek airspace in 96 cases, while 12 violations of the Athens FIR were also recorded.
Two of the 96 violations were overflights, while of the total of 20 Turkish aircraft, four were armed.
The Turkish F-16s flew in 7 formations, six in pairs and one in a trio, while five individual aircraft flew over areas of the Aegean, two CN-235 and 3 UAVs.
Of the total of 96 violations, 32 were carried out by CN-235s, 45 by UAV drones and 19 by F-16s.
Two of the 96 violations turned into jams.
Turkish jets flew over areas in Northeast, Central and Southeast Aegean.
The 20 aircraft were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules, as is standard practice.
