A new incident of violence against a driver is reported by the OASTH in a written statement, in which it is stated, among other things, that a passenger punched a bus driver and sent him to hospital.

“Another incident of violence was recorded against an OASTH driver. This time the episode occurred at 1 am on Tuesday, on the night Airport line, at the height of Kamara, when a passenger punched the driver.
The Police and EKAV ambulance were notified, which transported the driver to the on-call hospital for First Aid, while the route was not completed.
The President and CEO of OASTH, Costas Tangiris, contacted the driver to express his wishes for a speedy recovery, stressing that the Organization is on his side and categorically condemning the incidents of violence.
Mr. Tangiris, on the occasion of the incident, states that the OASTH will never tolerate such behavior against its staff. At the same time, it calls on the traveling public to help identify the perpetrators and underlines that the Organization will always be at the side of the workers by providing legal assistance and any other assistance required.”
