Traffic arrangements on Friday in Athens-Corinth for the SPARTATHLON

Traffic arrangements will be made on Friday (30/9) in Athens-Corinth, due to the running of the road race under the name “SPARTATHLON 2022”.

Traffic regulations in detail:

-Temporary stoppage of vehicular traffic, in the Emergency Lane (E.E.A.) and on the slope of the New Athens-Corinth National Road, in its section from the intersection of Athens & Mystra Streets to the intersection of Dilystirios (15,600 x/ i), in the traffic flow towards Corinth, in the area of ​​the Municipality of Chaidari – Aspropyrgos, during the hours 05.00′ to 10.00′

-Temporary suspension of vehicular traffic, in a 1.5m wide section. on the right end of the road surface of the New Athens-Corinthian National Road, in the section from the Diylistirio intersection (15,600 km/h) to the Sacred Way of Elefsina (20,000 km/h), in the traffic flow towards Corinth, area of ​​Aspropyrgos – Elefsina Municipalities, by at 06.30 to 09.00

-Temporary suspension of vehicular traffic, in a 1.5m wide section. on the right end of the road surface of the Holy Road of Eleusis – Heroes of the Polytechnic, in the section from its junction with the New National Highway of Athens-Corinth (km/h 20,000) to its junction with the Old National Highway of Athens-Corinth (position “BLOCK” ), in the traffic flow towards Corinth, area of ​​the Municipality of Elefsina, during the hours 06.30′ to 09.00′

-Temporary suspension of vehicular traffic, in a 1.5m wide section. at the right end of the roadway of the Old National Road of Athens – Corinth, traffic flow towards Corinth, in the section from its junction with the Holy Road of Elefsina – Heroes of the Polytechnic (position “BLOCK”) to road 27,000 (Elefsina Shipyards), area of ​​the Municipality of Elefsina, during the hours 06.30′ to 11.00′

-Temporary suspension of traffic for vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of more than 3.5 tons, on the Old National Highway of Athens – Corinth, in the section from road 27,000 (Elefsina Shipyards) to road 40,000 (Entrance-Exit of Megaron of N .E.O.A.K.) in both (2) traffic streams, area of ​​the Municipality of Megareo, during the hours 06.30′ to 13.00′.

During the validity of the above traffic regulation, the traffic of vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of more than 3.5 tons will be carried out via the New Athens – Corinth National Road.

ELAS appeals to the drivers of the vehicles, for the smooth conduct of the race and to prevent traffic problems, to avoid the traffic of their vehicles on the above streets and avenues and to follow the instructions of the traffic controllers.
