I was intubated in the intensive care unit together with the fetus …. Suddenly I started to feel unwell, unable to breathe, to feel that the oxygen in the room was not enough. My husband took me to the hospital and that’s where it all started. My condition got much worse and I was intubated.
March 2021: Koronios hits Dimitra, in the 7th month of her pregnancy. He stays 21 days in the intensive care unit. The most magical period in her life turned into a nightmare, in an instant.
“I caught and saw that my child is not in the womb and I started shouting and crying, who is my child I said and then I said Dimitra you must look strong. “The doctor told me I was doing a spectacular climb,” he describes
The longing to hold her child in her arms gave her strength.
“Crying for ten minutes. I cried, the nurses cried and I did not believe that we could do it and we are both alive. I was very afraid for the child’s life, I thought he would not do it. I begged the doctors. “Help our child,” she concludes, sending her own message in favor of vaccination.
“Let no one live what I went through, what I saw .. It would be good for them to be careful, it would be good for them to be vaccinated”
