The temporarily detained 34-year-old requested that the case file for the death of her first-born daughter, Georgina, be merged with the one concerning the deaths of the other two daughters of the Daskalaki family, Malena and Iris.
The decision of the Council of Misdemeanors was negative on the request of the 34-year-old defendant for the deaths of her three children, Roulas Pispirigou, to merge the two case files that have been filed for the so-called “Patra case”.
The temporarily detained 34-year-old requested that the case file for the death of her first-born daughter, Georgina, be merged with the one concerning the deaths of the other two daughters of the Daskalaki family, Malena and Iris.
The judges of the Council denied the accused’s request for the three deaths, as they judged that the joining of the two cases would not contribute anything to the whole process. The judges also took into account that the two cases are at a different procedural stage, since the one concerning Georgina is just before the decree is issued, while the second case for the two youngest children of the family is in the interrogation at the witness examination stage.
In fact, after the submission of the request to consolidate the case files of the 34-year-old, the interrogation of Malena and Irida was stopped, so that the request could be decided by the Council.
After the decision of the Judicial Council, it is expected that the investigative work will continue so that after the examination of the witnesses, the 34-year-old will be asked to apologize for her two youngest children.
