After the USA turn takes the United Kingdom which announced the imposition of new sanctions against Russia after the annexation of the four regions of Ukraine while the country proceeded in parallel in protest calling the Russian ambassador to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The UK is stepping up sanctions against Russia following its ‘illegal’ annexation of four regions of Ukraine,” its Foreign Secretary James Cleverley announced.

The measures will limit Russia’s access to key British services it depends on and ban the export to Russia of nearly 700 goods vital to manufacturing production, according to Britain’s Foreign Office.

“The UK strongly condemns Putin’s announcement of the illegal annexation of Ukrainian territory. We will never recognize the results of these fake referendums or any annexation of Ukrainian territory. The Russian regime must be held accountable for this heinous violation of international law. That’s why we’re working with our international partners to increase financial pressure through new targeted service bans.

What happens in Ukraine matters to all of us and the UK will do everything possible to help its fight for freedom,” said James Cleverley.

March to the Russian ambassador

At the same time, Britain went on a protest march over the annexation of the four regions of Ukraine representing more than 15% of its territory to the Russian Federation, the Foreign Office announced in London.

In fact, the Russian ambassador was summoned to the British Foreign Office.
