New evidence that the Greek Coast Guard is investigating has come to light for the many dead shipwreck with migrants in Lesvos.

Rescue of three more migrants in the morning

In the morning, the authorities informed about the rescue of three more migrants from the ELAS ground echelon, with the total number of those rescued reaching 28. The operation continues under adverse weather conditions.

It is estimated that about 40 people were on board the boat.

Rescued women of African origin were transferred yesterday to the Mytilini Hospital, where they were given first aid.
