Request to recall substituted juror denied – What Zeta Makripoulia and Rania Schiza testified
In the examination of the actors Zeta Makripoulia, Rania Schiza and Tassos Halkia the MOD proceeded after its decision to reject the request for the return of a substituted juror, which was submitted by the side of one of the three complainants of sexual violence by the defendant Petros Filippidis.
The three actors, as well as two other witnesses from the theater field who have already testified, were summoned following a proposal by the prosecutor’s office or a request by the defense to check the facts invoked by the first actress who denounced her rape in 2008, in the dressing room actor at the theater “Ivi”, during her appointment to replace a role in the project “Kitchens”, in which the three actors who testified today participated.
“There was no extra role for that performance,” Ms. Makripoulia said today in court, adding: “I don’t know the complainant. I know her mother. I don’t remember either the girl or saying anything to her. I don’t remember in 2008 meeting her in the toilets, as she says. What I remember is that there was no extra role. Six actors we started, six we finished. If there was ever an idea for an extra role, I don’t know. I don’t ever remember meeting a girl in the bathroom and saying those things. I’m sorry, but I don’t remember anything like that.”
Mrs. Schiza testified that she does not have a picture of the complainant and does not know her mother, while she emphasized that she does not remember any disturbance in this performance.
Accordingly, Mr. Chalkias testified that in the show “Kitchens” from the beginning “we were six people” and that – at least in his presence – there was never any discussion about an extra role. The witness also stated that his collaboration with the accused was flawless artistically. However, he himself characterized Filippidis as a perfectionist with his work, who may have gone beyond the limits at work.
The trial was adjourned until the day after tomorrow, October 13
