The prosecutor pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of moral turpitude in illegal firearms carrying and possession and false reporting

Specifically, for one of them, he pleaded guilty to complicity in attempted serial homicide and for the other, he pleaded guilty to attempted serial homicide.

Finally, for the fourth defendant, who is on trial for drug possession offenses, the prosecutor pleaded guilty as charged.

As Mr. Mouyoukos mentioned, Menios Fourthiotis having lost the police guard and in order to achieve the reinstatement of the police guards as a vulnerable target, caused two of his three co-accused to shoot at his home in April 2021. defendant, as the prosecutor pointed out, then falsely testified to the police authorities that unknown assailants shot outside his house to intimidate him.

At the start of today’s proceedings, Menios Fourthiotis claimed that last Friday he received a phone call with concealment and the person on the other end of the line, after revealing his identity, told him that he had followed what had happened in the trial and that has many things to say. However, citing fear, he chose instead to appear in court to give a statement to a notary public. The President and Prosecutor explained to the TV presenter that in the present trial the testimony invoked by Fourthiotis cannot be used as the evidentiary procedure has been completed.

The trial will continue on Thursday with the purchase of the advocates.
