The Prime Minister will preside over the regular meeting of the Governmental National Security Council (KYSEA) on Wednesday, at 12 noon, in Maximos Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

During the KYSEA meeting, there will be a detailed briefing by the Minister of Development Nikos Dendias regarding the developments in Libya and the contacts he had in Egypt. For his part, the Minister of Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos will emphasize that Greece is ready to respond to any challenge, while the Minister of Immigration and Asylum Notis Mitarakis will present the immigration situation both on the islands and in Evros.
“We said that we would strengthen the position of Greece in the region and Europe and today Greece is strong and is not threatened by anyone. Because we have strengthened our defense and shielded our alliances and guided by International Law we are moving in the troubled region of the Eastern Mediterranean” Mr. Mitsotakis said earlier from Edessa.
