Ten persons are invited next Tuesday by the Committee on Institutions and Transparency of the Parliament

Ten persons are called by the Committee on Institutions and Transparency of the Parliament, next Tuesday, October 25, for the case of communications monitoring. Parliamentary Transparency posted earlier today the invitations addressed, based on article 41A of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament (s.s. stipulates that the hearings of persons are mandatory if requested by two-fifths (2/5) of the committee members) to following ten faces:

– Anastasios Sirmalis, Deputy Director of Information Security & Data Protection OTE GLOBE.

-Petros Krogos, Director of Information Security at Wind.

-Maria Skagou, Vice President of the Board of Directors, Legal Advisor and Director of Corporate Security and External Affairs of Vodafone Greece.

-Georgios Diamantopoulos, Director of Information Security and Telecommunications Fraud Prevention at OTE Group.

-Evangelos Lemonias, Deputy Director of Systems Security & Cyber ​​- Resilience at OTE Group

-Konstantinos Megas, Executive Director of Operational Security and Continuity of OTE Group

-Christos Rammos, President of the Communications Privacy Protection Authority, Honorary Vice President of the Council of State.

-Supervisor of the National Information Service of the Athens Appeals Prosecutor Mrs. Vasiliki Vlachou

-Commander of the National Intelligence Service (NIS), Mr. Themistoklis Demiri at a meeting of the Special Standing Committee on Institutions and Transparency.

-Minister of State Mr. Georgios Gerapetritis.

According to the schedule of parliamentary committee meetings next week, as posted on the Parliament’s website, the Institutions Committee meeting on the subject of communications surveillance will be closed.
